Placing Thumb stitches on waste yarn

Cast off in rib

Place thumb stitches onto double pointed needles.
Pick up 3 stitches along side of mitten
Needle One 5 sts, Needle Two 5 sts, Needle Three 6 sts.

Work 4 rnds (k1,p1) rib
Cast off in rib
