Special stitches and notes:
- Spike htr – work a htr into specified rounds below, covering the stitches in the round below gathering slightly. The stitches covered are not worked into.
- Do not cut yarn between colour changes. Carry yarn up the back of work
- R10 will not line up with the previous rounds, due to the change is stitch count. Amy suggested “Round 10 when i did this round if I only did 2 htr before the spike stitches then my spike stitches would not be in the centre. I had to do 3 htr before the spike sts for the first bubble and then i followed the pattern to the end of the round and just did 1 htr after the last 2 spike sts. Not sure if it matters or not.”

R2 dc in blo to end. ch1 turn
Repeat R2 until 80 rows are worked.
Match shorter ends and slip stitch the two together. Commence working in rounds.
Body
R1. 2ch, work 90 htr Evenly working into side of rows (90htr) join with slip st to 1st tr. **
