Yarn 8 ply Dazzle Acrylic small amount for body and contrast yarn for eyes and nose.
Needles 3.25mm double pointed needles
Pattern
Cast on 20sts leaving a long tail (30cm) and join in the round
Knit in stocking stitch until work measures 7cms
Arrange the stitches onto two needles, 10 st on each and Kitchener stitch (graft) the stitches together.
Assembly
Using yarn tail sew across each corner to make ears.
Stuff head and using tail of yarn or scrap yarn sew around where the neck will be and pull tight, 2.5cm from top.
Stuff body. Sew around cast on edge and pull to gather opening. Stitch firmly closed. Use the rest of the cast on tail to crochet a tail.
With yarn tail, work 6 or 7 chains, turn and slip stitch along securing to the body of the cat with a slip stitch and finish yarn.
Face is embroidered on with contrasting yarn.
