Welcome to the KSW Studio!
This is a place for all things creative – dyeing, felting, spinning, weaving, knitting, crochet…whatever fibre art takes your fancy!
Why a studio space?
I want learning and being part of a creative community accessible to all. As a mum of 7, I know how tight a budget can be. This shouldn’t stop us from being creative, learning and making connections in our community.
This space will be available for private hire as well as workshops and gatherings.
There is an onsite toilet, as well as kitchenette facilities. A gold coin donation is required for use of the kitchenette consumables.
How will it work?
Have you heard about a business model called Pay What You Can? (PWYC). It’s a business model which doesn’t depend on set pricing but instead asks customers to pay what they feel the product or service is worth to them.
It’s done to enable those on lower incomes to participate and enjoy in activities that may be out of their budget. And allow those who are better off to support the businesses they love and value.
There may be material costs in the workshops that will be fixed but the tuition and room use will be a PWYC. (Pay What You Can)
