Sometimes I need a simple mindless project to get me moving. Something small and achievable. Something that doesn’t cause me to doubt myself.
This is one of those projects. A simple crochet braid that can be used to decorate a card, a dress or the edge of a pillowcase if you so desire.
It’s not complicated and works up quickly, work in Christmas colours and hang it off the tree. Make it with thick or thin yarn. Just match the hook to your yarn selection.
Ricrac Braid
Ch 4
Row 1 (2tr, ch1, tr) in 4th ch from hook, ch3, turn
Row 2 (2 tr,ch1,tr) in ch1 space from previous row, ch3 turn. Repeat row 2 until desired length
