It’s been a while since I last did the Monday update.
Christmas is approaching fast. I’ve been promising Natalie a card making class for months now. Finally a date. Join me on Saturday 12th of November for a pop up workshop making Christmas cards. Cost is $2 a card. Stay to make one or ten. Starting at 10am and finishing at 1:30pm.
There are handmade Christmas cards available in the shop at $4.
Peter has the shop today and tomorrow. I’m working on the next YouTube pattern video.
I’ve rotated the stock and brought the cotton out, ready for warmer weather knits. Also making space for the Creative Memories stock (which still needs pricing 🧐) there are example albums available to browse, including last year’s retreat.
Talking about the retreat, all rooms are now booked. Don’t let that stop you attending as camping and staying off site is still an option.
The discussion has started in the retreat messenger group about workshop wishes and there’s been some good suggestions. I’m desperate to teach a spinning class and the dye is a definite on the programme again.
Knit Night is on Thursday 5:30pm. It was well attended last week with some new knitters attending. There’s no cost for Knit Night and if you need some help there’s a few of us who can sort you out. Just don’t ask me to pick up black dropped stitches.
