I’m in love with my paper crafting. Making art journals. Writing down things I could never say, then painting or collaging over the words. Putting them in the past and covering them with the joy I want in my life, rather than focusing on the sorrow.
Making new connections both online and in the physical world.
The last few months my play has brought me much joy and another way to learn how to process my thoughts and emotions. A safe way, that does not hurt others or myself.
What started out as a way of adding another product to the shop, has blossomed out to include scrapbooking and memory keeping, art journaling and learning to draw, collage and paint.
I’m learning to let go of perfection, for having a purpose for the things I create. Letting go of the final product and being absorbed in the process.
